From October to May, on 6 days, travel in 4X4 for Ksar Ghilane, Douz, Tozeur, and Matmata.
Camp in the pink desert of Ksar Ghilane
Hound in the white sand dunes and end of Nefzaoua, with bivouac and nights in the desert.
Duration of 3 to 5 hours of walking per day

Program: Pink Desert and White Desert

 

Day 1 PINK DESERT

 

  • Take charge of your place of residence at 9am.

  • Departure in 4x4 Ksar Ghilane.

  • Lunch in a restaurant at the foot of the dunes at the oasis of Ksar Ghilane.

  • Possibility of swimming in the hot spring, having thermal virtues (optional).

  • Departure by the track, for the Saharan camp in the large Oriental Erg.

  • Installation, quiet time, dinner and night in comfortable tent.

Day 2

 

  • Wake up, breakfast, free time in the desert

  • Lunch at the camp.

  • Free time in the dunes,

  • Dinner and night in individual tent at the camp.

 

Day 3 DESERT WHITE

 

  • Wake up and breakfast moment of calm in the desert.

  • Departure for Douz the door of the desert.

  • Lunch in a guest house.

  • Departure in 4X4 in the desert to find the camel driver and the dromedaries who will carry the luggage, the tents and the food.

  • Departure of the camel at your pace in the silence of the desert.

  • Installation of the bivouac, dinner and night in tents near the fire.

 

Day 4

 

  • Wake up and breakfast, quiet moment in the desert.

  • Departure for the second day of walk in the sands of the desert.

  • Lunch with the camel driver.

  • Resume the ride at your own pace.

  • Installation of the bivouac, dinner and night in tents near the fire.

 

Day 5 TOZEUR

 

  • Wake up and breakfast, quiet moment in the desert.

  • Back to Douz the 4X4 vehicle is waiting for you.

  • Departure by the Salt Lake, the Chott El Jerid for Tozeur.

  • Lunch in Tozeur.

  • Departure for visits to mountain oasis, Chebika, Tarmerza and Mides and its canyon. Filming locations of star wars, English patient.

  • Dinner and night in a cottage in Tozeur.

 

Day 6 MATMATA

 

  • Breakfast and departure for Omg Jmel. "The camel's neck". filming location of Star Wars movies.

  • Road to Matmata by Chott El Jerid

  • Lunch in Matmata.

  • Visit of Matmata and the troglodyte houses.

  • Visit of the village of Toujane.

  • Return to your place of residence.

Transportation by car 4 * 4 on the basis of 2 people per car. The services of a licensed ONTT guide. the camel ride, the camel driver, the full board from lunch on the 1st day to lunch on the last day.
